NGO work is vital to empower marginalized communities, reduce poverty, ensure access to rights and services, and drive inclusive, sustainable development where government and markets often fall short.
CARE Gramin Vikash Kendra (CGVK) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 under the Society Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No. 825/2012-13, dated 23rd February 2013). The organization is driven by development professionals and socially committed youth dedicated to transforming rural and urban communities. CGVK works to improve the quality of life of marginalized, excluded, and underserved populations through sustainable and inclusive development approaches. Over the past 12 years, CGVK has built a strong presence across all 24 districts of Jharkhand and expanded its outreach to states such as West Bengal, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. Through various programs and initiatives, the organization has positively impacted thousands of lives and developed strong expertise in grassroots development interventions.

Anua Awas Sabka Awas Project
The Anua Awas Sabka Awas Project was implemented under the Chief Minister Bhabhua Health Security Scheme with a project support value of ₹20 lakh. The initiative was carried out in Bhuchungdih, Jharkhand, with activities documented on 24 November 2025. The program focused on improving the living conditions and social security of vulnerable and underprivileged families by supporting safe and accessible housing facilities. The initiative aimed to ensure better health, hygiene, and dignity for marginalized communities through community-centered development efforts. The project also emphasized inclusive welfare and sustainable rural development by addressing basic housing and social infrastructure needs.
Panchayat Sawad & Awareness Programme
The Panchayat Sawad & Awareness Programme, initiated on 05 October 2025, is implemented across rural areas of Jharkhand in collaboration with the Quality Control of India (QCI). The program aims to strengthen local governance by enhancing awareness about rights, entitlements, and government schemes among rural communities. It focuses on building the capacity of elected representatives (Mukhiyas) and encouraging active community participation in decision-making processes. The initiative also promotes transparency, accountability, and quality standards in rural infrastructure and services. Special efforts are made to reach remote and hard-to-access areas, ensuring inclusive participation. A total of 4,345 beneficiaries, including PRI members and community representatives, have been reached under this program, contributing to improved governance and sustainable rural development.
Broiler Poultry Scheme (Chick Distribution)
Under the Chief Minister Livestock Development Scheme, the Broiler Poultry Scheme was implemented in Chitarpur Block, Ramgarh District during the financial year 2023-24. The program was sponsored by the Animal Husbandry Department, Ramgarh, with CARE Gramin Vikash Kendra serving as the supplier and implementation support agency. The initiative aimed to strengthen rural livelihoods and promote self-employment among economically weaker families through poultry farming. Beneficiaries were provided with broiler chicks along with technical guidance and support to encourage sustainable income generation. The program contributed towards improving household earnings, nutritional security, and rural economic development in the region.
