The Panchayat Sawad & Awareness Programme, initiated on 05 October 2025, is implemented across rural areas of Jharkhand in collaboration with the Quality Control of India (QCI). The program aims to strengthen local governance by enhancing awareness about rights, entitlements, and government schemes among rural communities. It focuses on building the capacity of elected representatives (Mukhiyas) and encouraging active community participation in decision-making processes.
The initiative also promotes transparency, accountability, and quality standards in rural infrastructure and services. Special efforts are made to reach remote and hard-to-access areas, ensuring inclusive participation. A total of 4,345 beneficiaries, including PRI members and community representatives, have been reached under this program, contributing to improved governance and sustainable rural development.
